PROFOR 2008 Advisory Board Meeting

February 7-8, 2008

This year, the PROFOR Advisory Board discussed

• the PROFOR portfolio and key outcomes from 2007 (see PROFOR Progress Report 2007),
• latest developments within the World Bank related to forestry, such as the new Forest Carbon Partnership Facility, and the institution's work on Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation,
• the results of a revised "Request for Proposals" process, and
• priority topics for upcoming activities.
